Dr. Dre Gives Update After Being Hospitalized With Reported Brain Aneurysm
Dr. Dre was reportedly sent to the hospital after a brain aneurysm on Tuesday night. the 55-year-old music mogul was taken by ambulance Cedars-Sinai Medical Center in Los Angeles, where he was taken to the ICU.
Dre shared a post on Instagram updating his fans on his condition and thanking them for their support. “Thanks to my family, friends and fans for their interest and well wishes.” Dre wrote. “I’m doing great and getting excellent care from my medical team. I will be out of the hospital and back home soon. Shout out to all the great medical professionals at Cedars. One Love!!”

Dre is reportedly in stable condition, but doctors are currently performing tests to figure out what caused the bleeding.
This comes amidst a legal battle between Dre and his now ex-wife, Nicole Young, who filed for divorce last year after 24 years of marriage.
Dre received support from several of his longtime collaborators, such as Ice Cube and Missy Elliot, over Twitter following the reports.
Dr. Dre started as a founding member of the popular rap group N.W.A. in the ’80s. He then went on to work on solo music while co-founding a music label, Death Row Records, where he signed artists such as 2pac. He continued to create his own label, Aftermath Entertainment, where he signed artists such as Eminem and 50 cent.
