Crash Bandicoot
On Monday during Sony’s E3 2016 press conference, Sony’s Shawn Layden announced the return of the character Crash Bandicoot.
In a new partnership with Activision, the company that currently owns the rights to Crash Bandicoot, Sony will be bringing the former Playstation mascot back in a new fully remastered trilogy.
The remastered trilogy will feature revamped versions of Crash’s first three games, 1996’s Crash Bandicoot, 1997’s Crash Bandicoot 2: Cortex Strikes Back and 1998’s Crash Bandicoot: Warped. They will all be reestablished from the ground up and made exclusively for Playstation 4.
In addition to the return of Crash a modern console, the character will also be in the upcoming Skylanders Imaginators game. Layden shared a promotional video for Skylanders featuring a cameo of Crash.
