Last week, actor Clark Gregg, known for his role as Agent Phil Coulson in various properties from the Marvel Cinematic Universe such as The Avengers and the TV series Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D, filed for a divorce from his wife and fellow actor Jennifer Grey, known for her role as Frances “Baby” Houseman in the romantic drama Dirty Dancing. The two actors got married in 2001 during a ceremony on a Martha’s Vineyard beach in Massachusetts. The two stayed married for 19 years, having an 18-year-old daughter, Stella, during that time period.
The couple first separated in January, 2020. However, despite going through a divorce, the two actors are on friendly terms. Gregg and Grey released a joint statement on social media explaining their current situation, stating ”After 19 years together, we separated in January, knowing we’d always be a family who loves, values and cares for each other. We recently made the difficult decision to divorce, but we remain close and are deeply grateful for the life we’ve shared and the wonderful daughter we’ve raised.”
Grey even wished her ex-husband nothing but the best for Father’s Day on Instagram.
