Cardi B canceled her Indianapolis concert after an “unverified threat.”
The concert, that was set to take place at Bankers Life Fieldhouse, was canceled after Indianapolis Metropolitan Police Department said there was an “unverified threat” in a tweet Thursday.
“Dear Indiana people I’m so sorry for today,” she said. “I will like to let you know I was at the venue I was even rehearsing a new move I been excited to do on my show. Unfortunately there was a security threat that is currently under investigation right now. My safety and your safety first.”
The rapper was in the arena for a soundcheck prior to the postponement.
Artists Saweetie and Kevin Gates were expected to be the supporting acts.
The band will receive musical support from The Mars Volta and Fleshwater.
