“Can I show you or not?”
On Wednesday night, model Sam Asghari caught wife and pop star Britney Spears by surprise on Instagram live while the couple was in bed. “Huh? show me what?” Spears replied, confused by the question. Possibly the former teen star had been asleep when her husband started his stream.
Asghari revealed that he was on Instagram live, referring to it just as “the Live.” Britney asked for more clarification, “What are you talking about?”

“Can I turn the camera on you?” Asghari asked his wife in the dark of their bedroom.
“I’m always live,” Spears said after the realization that Asghari had started an Instagram live stream.
The “Toxic” singer seemed annoyed by being caught off guard, adding “I have nothing to say. I don’t want to talk to them right now.”
Asghari ended the stream shortly after. Three thousand fans tuned in for the Instagram live session and supporters were left with mixed opinions.
“Can you imagine your husband going live and asking you to show your face when you aren’t in the mood? a critical fan wrote on a Spear’s fan page.
Another similar-minded fan wrote, “I think he shouldn’t have surprised her. He should have asked her before he went live.”
Other voices from those who responded to the stream rushed to the defense of not only Spears, but also Asghari. One commentator said, “he respected her wishes when she said no,” while another added, “This is such a regular, common couple chat.”
Spears and Asghari married back in June. Insiders say that the relationship may be going better than the minute-long Instagram Livestream appears to show.
This month marks the one-year anniversary of the conservatorship’s end.
Spears has posted numerous nude photos in recent months raising concern among fans.
