‘Avengers: Infinity Wars’ Directors Ask Fans To Hold Off On Spoilers

Avengers: Infinity Wars directors, The Russo Brothers, asked Marvel fans to not spoil the movie in the upcoming month following its premiere.

The movie is about to start its press tour, however, the directors have assured fans that they are only playing select parts from the movie. Even journalists will only seen parts of the movie ahead of their interviews with directors and actors. Select footage from the movie will be shown until its Los Angeles premiere on April 23.

The directors say that “only a handful of people know the film’s true plot”. There is a major events coming up and they do not want it to be ruined for anybody who wants to watch.

In their statement they write, “We’re about to embark on the Avengers: Infinity War press tour. We will be visiting fans all over the world screening only a limited amount of selected footage from the film in order to avoid spoiling the story for future viewers. We will not screen the film in its entirety until the Los Angeles premiere shortly before the film’s global release. Everyone involved with the film has worked incredibly hard for the past two years maintaining the highest level of secrecy. Only a handful of people know the film’s true plot. We’re asking that when you see Infinity War, in the coming months, that you maintain the same level of secrecy so that all fans can have an equal experience when they watch it for the first time. Don’t spoil it for others, the same way you wouldn’t want it spoiled for you.”

 

Tom Holland, who plays Spider-Man in the Marvel Cinematic Universe, jokes and says that the letter was meant for him.

 

This most recent announcement has made fans excited to see what The Russo Brothers have in store for the fate of the Avengers.

 

 

Avengers: Infinity War releases everywhere on April 27.
