Carrie Underwood achieved yet another impressive goal this week, winning the Artist Of The Year Award at the Schermerhorn Symphony Center on Wednesday in Nashville.

Known for winning the fourth season of American Idol in 2005, Underwood has developed into a major success as a country star ever since with hit songs such as “Before He Cheats” and “Blown Away” topping the charts.

Underwood, along with Shania Twain and Kelsea Ballerini, have all won CMT’s Artist Of The Year Award. Underwood serenaded the audience with “Like I’ll Never Love You Again.”

“Aren’t we blessed?” she said during her speech. “God is good and he has definitely been good to me.” She also posted on social media to mark the occasion.

Luke Bryan, Thomas Rhett, Florida Georgia Line and Chris Stapleton were also honored at the event. Twain, one of the most successful female singers in all of country music, was given the Lifetime Achievement Award in addition to her Artist Of The Year Award. Other singers performed their own arrangements of Twain’s songs.
