Ariana Grande Pays Tribute To Mac Miller With Special Video

Ariana Grande once said that Mac Miller‘s drug addiction made their relationship toxic. In the end, she only ever wished her ex-boyfriend health and happiness and has reportedly been deep in mourning since his death from an overdose more than two weeks ago.

Grande hasn’t spoken publicly since Miller, 26, was found dead in his San Fernando Valley home on Sept. 7. But the “Sweetener” singer has posted photos and a video to her Instagram.

The most recent set of photos and video are of Miller’s dog Myron, a pitbull mix that he adopted in January 2017, when the couple was still together.

On Monday, Grande shared a video of her cuddling Myron and being showered with attention. She captioned the clip: “All the kisses. happy fall.”

It’s not clear if Grande has adopted Myron. However, it’s possible, given that she has nine rescue dogs of her own.

Miller adopted Myron from Wylder’s Holistic Pet Center through The Wagmor, a luxury pet hotel in Los Angeles, while he was still dating Grande.

The couple dated for two years till they broke up in April, though they didn’t announce their split until May. Soon after, Grande went public with her new romance with Saturday Night Live star Pete Davidson.

After Miller died, Grande posted several tributes to the late rapper on social media. First, she shared a black-and-white image of her ex, followed by a video.

“I adored you from the day I met you when I was nineteen and I always will,” she wrote. “I can’t believe you aren’t here anymore. I really can’t wrap my head around it. We talked about this so many times. I’m so mad, I’m so sad I don’t know what to do.”

Grande addressed the breakup and people blaming her for Miller’s difficulties in staying sober on Twitter. In the post, she described how it was to be in a relationship with someone battling addiction. She also said it was “absurd” for anyone to “minimize female self-respect and self-worth by saying someone should stay in a toxic relationship.”

“I have cared for him and tried to support his sobriety & prayed for his balance for years (and always will of course) but shaming/blaming women for a man’s inability to keep his s–t together is a very major problem,” she wrote.

Last week, her and Davidson decided to skip the 2018 Emmy Awards, despite her fiance’s show, Saturday Night Live, winning big at the ceremony.
