Alex Rodriguez Visits Jennifer Lopez In The Dominican Republic After Breakup Reports

Alex Rodriguez reunited with Jennifer Lopez in the Caribbean over the weekend.

On Friday, the retired MLB star shared a series of photos and videos on Instagram from his time golfing on the island, where he traveled to visit Lopez on the set of her upcoming film, Shotgun Wedding. “Golf in the 🇩🇴. #Blessed #Fore#playagrande,” Rodriguez captioned the post.

On Saturday, Elanie Goldsmith-Thomas, producer of Shotgun Wedding, shared a video of Lopez delivering a speech to the cast and crew. “Halfway through principle photography,” Goldsmith-Thomas revealed.

Amid breakup rumors earlier this month, A-Rod and JLo released a joint statement on March 13, saying that they’ve been “working through some things” in their relationship.

In a February Allure cover story, the “Dance Again” singer shared that she and Rodriguez had gone to the couples therapy. “I think it was really helpful for us in our relationship,” she said in the magazine.

Lopez and Rodriguez got engaged after dating for two years in the Bahamas in March 2019. Lopez also revealed that the couple was forced to hit pause on wedding planning and already had to cancel two ceremonies due to the ongoing pandemic.

Rodriguez also flew to the Dominican Republic last Sunday to reunite with Lopez before heading back to the island country a few days later.

The former Yankees player is expected to return to Miami in April when the 2021 Major League Baseball season begins. He is an analyst on ESPN’s Sunday Night Baseball.
