After being found unresponsive at a celebrity rehabilitation house, adult film star Emily Willis, 25, is fighting for her life.
Initial reports suggested the adult star suffered an apparent overdose.
Her brother quickly denied overdose claims, stating, “Regarding the reports of an overdose, we want to clarify that they are not accurate as far as the doctors and my family know,” on the GoFundMe page for Willis.
Willis is hooked up to a ventilator, and her stepfather, Michael, said that her condition is worsening every day.
“We have been by her side as she slowly tries to recover, but it will be a challenging journey ahead,” Michael Willis told TMZ. “Emily remains in a vegetative coma and is fighting for her life.”
Willis has been left from the porn industry before the health scare.
“She retired from the adult industry nearly two years ago and had aspirations of success in other fields of entertainment,” her brother wrote. “Those who worked with her in her new career path knew she had the potential to achieve her dreams.”
She seemed to be doing well in rehab.
“Emily was receiving the treatment and help she needed at the time of the incident to overcome her struggles,” her brother added.
Willis earned XBIZ Awards, a NightMoves Award and an XRCO Award.
In 2021, she starred in Eddie Alcazar‘s mainstream thriller, Divinity.
