OLIVIA DUDLEY BIOGRAPHY: AGE, EARLY LIFE, FAMILY, EDUCATION

Olivia Dudley was born on November 4, 1985 (Olivia Dudley: Age 37) in Morro Bay, California to Jim Dudley and Saundra Hoeschel. She graduated from Morro Bay High School in 2002 and moved to Los Angeles at 17 to pursue acting.

OLIVA DUDLEY BIOGRAPHY: CAREER

Dudley started her acting career as an extra in The Anna Nicole Smith Story (2007), Remembering Phil (2008) and Birds of a Feather (2011). Dudley gained popularity from the 2012 movie, Chernobyl Diaries. Dudley played Natalie who goes with her boyfriend and a small group of friends to tour Pripyat, the abandoned town next to the Chernobyl Nuclear Power Plant.

In 2015 Dudley played the main character Angela, a young girl harboring an evil spirit, in the movie The Vatican Tapes.

Starting in 2011 Dudley guest starred in shows like NCIS, CSI: Miami, The Mindy Project, The Comedians and Curb Your Enthusiasm. From 2015-2020, Dudley was part of the main cast of The Magicians. In the show, Dudley plays Alice Quinn, a young and naturally gifted magician enrolled at Brakebills University for Magical Pedagogy.

Onyx The Fortuitous & The Talismans Of Souls was first created on YouTube by Andrew Bowser. In his debut on the big screen, Onyx searches for a new life and is enticed by his idol Bartok the Great (Jeffery Combs) into summoning a demon. In a turn for the worse, Bartok, his followers, including Farrah (Dudley), and Onyx have to fight to save their souls.

In an exclusive interview with uInterview, Dudley discussed what it was like working with Bowser.

“Andrew’s pretty cool,” she laughed. “We’ve known each other for ten years and we’ve been making stuff on and off the whole time, especially these last five years. So I’ve been very familiar with the character Onyx and I get such a kick out of Onyx.”

“I don’t think I realized how famous he was, I didn’t quite realize it till the last couple of years,” Dudley continued. “So when he wrote this script and it was amazing and we did the Kickstarter and I saw how much love came pouring in from the Kickstarter I was like, ‘Woah, there’s really something special here.’ I already knew that, but it’s been really wonderful. We’re creative partners but also best friends and getting to make movies with your best friend is amazing.”

In the interview, Dudley also revealed what was her most memorable scene to film.

“Shooting the music video was a lot of fun, but it was really hard,” she said. “I would say the hardest day on set was shooting the music video because I had to go in and out of prosthetics and the prosthetics on the character were really intense. We had so much to shoot in one day, music videos require a lot, but in the end, it turned out so great. I really loved shooting it.”
