Panasonic Toughbook CF-33 Review: As Durable As Ever

Are you in a profession that puts your laptop’s safety at risk? If so, the Panasonic Toughbook CF-33, as its name implies, was built to be a resilient, dependable partner for work.

PARASONIC TOUGHBOOK CF-33

Parasonic’s latest innovation lives up to its mission, offering buyers with a durable machine for on the job. Whether it will take physical abuse from your habitat or be subjected to external factors, such as water or dust, the Toughbook CF-33 will remain as functional as ever. CNET tested their CF-33, noting how, barring a few scratches, the tablet and its keyboard continue to work fine.

The Toughbook is a tablet, although a premium keyboard can also be purchased, too. If you have a keyboard attached, the CF-33 is a pretty weighty device at 6.1 pounds, though it drops down to 3.4 pounds if a keyboard isn’t appended to it. By default, the tablet has ports for USB, HDMI, MicroSDXC, Ethernet, True Optional Seriel, Nano-SIM, Audio In/Out and docking connector inputs. Furthermore, the keyboard provides a few more ports, including one for SDXC and VGA.

The Toughbook CF-33’s 12-inch screen delivers a 3:2 aspect ratio with touch capabilities, even working in the rain or if you’re wearing gloves. Moreover, its battery life spans a fair ten hours. Standard wireless capabilities are accounted for, including Wi-Fi and Bluetooth. Windows 10 Pro is the go-to operating system for the machine, though an option to downgrade to Windows 7 is available for a fee.

The CF-33 is the latest in the Toughbook line, which dates back to 1996. The experience Panasonic has gained in building durable machines can be seen in its latest device, so the Toughbook CF-33 is a strong consideration if you have a job littered with hazards. The standard MSRP is listed as $4,159.00, although you might find the Panasonic Toughbook CF-33 for more.
