Amazon Fire HD 10 Review: Amazon’s New Tablet Is Hot

Amazon’s become a household name, thanks not just to their useful website, but also due to the many useful tools they’ve developed. Amazon’s tablets have become a pillar in their portfolio, and the Amazon Fire HD 10 offers prospective buyers the most advanced Fire tablet yet.

AMAZON FIRE HD 10 REVIEW

While Amazon’s Fire tablets are already valued assistants to many, the most recent iteration brings with it a luxury the line hasn’t had since 2013: a 10.1-inch, 1080p display. Moreover, it’s composed of a 1.8 GHZ quad-core processor with 2GB of RAM. 32GB of internal memory suits the entry level model, although a 64BG model is also an option. Plus, you can insert a 256GB micro-SD card into either.

In terms of its physique, this Fire tablet’s dimensions are 10.3 x 6.3 x 0.4, and it weights only 500 grams. Plus, according to Amazon’s testing, their machine is more durable than Apple’s latest iPad Pro 10.5-inch.

When you’re not streaming, reading your Kindle library or playing a quick game, you can utilize the Fire’s rear and front-facing cameras to take snapshots anywhere, anytime. Moreover, the battery life will last up to 10 hours, so you can luxuriate in your pastimes for a considerable length of time.

It wouldn’t be an Amazon device without their agreeable digital assistant Alexa, hence her beneficial presence. As usual, if you have an inquiry or wish to control the Fire HD 10 with oral commands, you can speak to Alexa and she’ll aid you. Notably, Alexa can be beckoned purely verbally, whereas the Fire 7 and Fire HD 8 required a button press. However, Amazon’s product page notes how Alexa will be “available soon via software update.”

Amazon’s latest Fire tablet will launch on October 11. Respectively, the 32GB and 64GB iterations will cost $149.99 and $189.99. Splurging a little more on the “Without Special Offers” option will rid your device of advertisements. All incarnations of the Fire HD 10 will come in three colors: black, punch red and marine blue.
