Adam Senn made a name for himself in a big way back in 2003 when he appeared in the Mario Testino-shot Gucci campaign which featured the model pulling down Louise Pederson's underwear, revealing a G-shaped pubic hair design. Senn, who was born in Paris but growing up in Sugarland, Texas, did not originally plan on becoming a model but was approached by an agent in a hotel lobby while on a trip with his girlfriend. He moved to New York City after graduating high school and was quickly signed to Wilhelmina Models in 2002.
Since then, Senn has appeared in magazines like GQ, Maxim and Vman and has worked for fashion brands like Valentino, Armani Exchange and Dolce & Gabanna, of which he has become a favorite, appearing in a number of their spring and fall campaigns. The model is also widely recognized for his role on MTV's reality show The City, which also starred Whitney Port and Olivia Palermo.
Strangely, he almost missed his big break. "Being from Texas straight out of school, I really didn’t know much about the fashion industry," Senn told Uinterview exclusively. "My agency told me I had to go meet Mario Testino. I actually had a flight the same day back to Texas. I said, ‘I’m not going to change my flight.’ I didn’t know what was what. Fortunately, I got to see Mario another time and that’s who cast me."
