Kristen Stewart's Odd Stage Behavior Explained

Academy Award viewers were all abuzz about the onstage behavior of Kristen Stewart, 22, at Sunday night's Academy Awards, when she hobbled her way to the microphone beside Harry Potter's Daniel Radcliffe, 23, to present the award for Achievement in Production Design, which ended up going to Rick Carter and Jim Erickson of Lincoln.

Stewart, who arrived at the ceremony sans significant other Robert Pattinson, had some trouble getting to the mic because she had cut the ball of her foot just days before on a piece of glass, reports Us Weekly. Though Radcliffe offered her an arm during their walk together, she decided to make a go of it on her own, not even employing the use of the crutches she carried backstage.

"She had sliced her foot and everyone was worrying about would she wear heels or flats or one heel, crutches or no crutches," Stewart's manicurist, Ashlie Johnson, said. "She tried so many options, she was really a trooper."

Stewart looked the part in a pale, strapless Reem Acra gown, Jimmy Choo heels and Fred Leighton jewelry, despite her apparent nerves about her foot. "We all were trying to make her feel better and her friends were trying to tell her she'd be fine," said her hairstylist, Danilo. "She has insecurities about being in front of people so today was even tougher."

And a foot injury wasn't the only bad news that Stewart recently got. Just one day before the Oscars, she was awarded the Worst Actress Razzie for her roles in both Breaking Dawn: Part 2 and Snow White and the Huntsman.
