This year's Oscar ceremony will celebrate the impact of the decade's latest movie musicals with a special emphasis on Les Miserables (2012), Dreamgirls (2006) and Chicago (2002). What's even more impressive are the stars slated to perform numbers from these musicals. Academy-Award-winning actors Jennifer Hudson, Catherine Zeta-Jones and Russell Crowe will join the cast of Les Miserables, including Anne Hathaway, Amanda Seyfried, Aaron Tveit, Samantha Barks, Helena Bonham Carter and Eddie Redmayne.

Oscar producers Craig Zadan and Neil Meron are carefully staging the tribute. "We are pleased to have been able to amass so much talent to create the celebration of musicals of the last decade that we envisioned,” they said in a press release. “We are thrilled that so many talented actors have agreed to bring our vision to life.”

In addition to a musical tribute, the Oscars will also honor the 50th anniversary of the James Bond film franchise.

Watch Family Guy's Seth MacFarlane host the Academy Awards this Sunday, February 24th on ABC.
