Writers Guild Nominates 'Bridesmaids,' Snubs 'War Horse'

If you're more interested in quality writing over, say, good makeup, then take note of the Writers Guild award nominations, announced Friday. These awards, to be handed out by the Writers Guild of America (WGA) on February 19, honor films that could go on to win Oscars from the Academy later in the month. Last year, the two big winners were Inception, in the original screenplay category, and The Social Network, for adapted.
