Jennifer Lawrence To Announce Oscar Nominations

Those eying the much-anticipated release of The Hunger Games, starring Jennifer Lawrence, will get to see a sneak peak of the star on January 24 as she reads out the nominees of the Academy Awards. Lawrence, one of last year's Best Actress nominees for Winter's Bone, will call out the top five contenders in categories including Best Picture, Best Actor and Best Original Screenplay.

The actress, 21, who appeared this year in Like Crazy and X-Men: First Class, will be joined by Academy President Tom Sherak at the Samuel Goldwyn Theater in Beverly Hills, according to MTV.com. Winners will be announced live during the February 26 awards show with host Billy Crystal, airing on ABC.

Let's hope Lawrence nods to Hunger Games fans and says "May the odds be ever in your favor" after each category.
