Kimberly Williams-Paisley, star of Nashville and wife of country singer Brad Paisley, recently spoke to Uinterview at the NYC Changemaker’s Gala benefiting the African Children’s Choir in New York City. She spoke about how her family celebrates during the holiday season – yes, they sing Christmas carols.
Williams-Paisley told Uinterview exclusively that her family breaks out the Christmas music even before Thanksgiving, and that they make sure to break out Paisley’s own Christmas album for the occasion.
Williams-Paisley appeared at the event to support her Nashville co-star and honoree, Connie Britton and rubbed elbows with fellow guests Sheryl Crow and Big Kenny before being treated to a concert by the African Children’s Choir.
Williams-Paisley is also dishing about her favorite gifts for kids in the Dec. 9 issue of People.
Williams-Paisley is mother to two sons, Huck, 6, and Jasper, 4, ad says one gift she loves is a personalized shirtcape. These cute long sleeve shirts, with cape attached, come in different color schemes and can be personalized with one letter on the front. $44
“Kids will feel like superheroes,” Williams-Paisley says of the whimsical gift.
Other fun gift ideas include Stuffies, a stuffed animal with hidden pockets so kids can keep their most valuable toys safe. Or, as Williams-Paisley puts it, “Kids can hide their favorite toys inside and snuggle up at night.”
Stuffies come in various animal designs, ranging from dragons to unicorns, each with seven secret pockets. All Stuffies come with an interactive storybook. $29.95
For little engineers, Williams-Paisley suggests giving a set of Magna-Tiles. This 32 piece set comes in clear colors and is perfect for creating 3-D structures: “These promote imaginative play and creativity. $51.50
Williams-Paisley also loves these small water pouches, Little Squirts, which come in various animal and cartoon designs. A staple of Paisley family lunches – “we freeze them and put them in the boys’ lunches” – these fun pouches even come in holiday themed designs, such as this angel. $4.99-9.91
