Phillip Keel To Release Volume Two Of Popular Fill-In-The-Blank Diary

It's not always easy to keep a daily journal — especially when writer's block attacks. Critically acclaimed writer and artist Phillipp Keel changed that in 2009 with his Keel's Simple Diary: Volume One, a 136-page book with daily quips and worksheets to keep track of your everyday moves. Shaped in the same model as his popular All About Me series, this "simple diary" did all the hard work for you: all you had to do was fill in the blanks. Now, Keel's kicking it up a notch with a second volume of the sleek log.

Keel's Simple Diary: Volume Two will be released this season by Taschen Books, the publishing house known for its provocative art, fetish, design and fashion releases such as The Big Book of Breasts and Helmut Newtown Polaroids. The first version of the book became the publisher's number-one seller after its 2009 release. Just like the original, volume two will be filled with thought-provoking and open-ended inquiries, multiple-choice questions and pictures that can help paint a clear — and quick — snapshot of one's day. For only $15, it's a definite steal… and stocking stuffer.

The second edition diary is coming soon to Taschen's website and will be available in vintage yellow, pink, black, dark red, olive green and light blue.
