Get Suited At New Macy's Sean John Store
What's smooth, full of swagger and wrapped in a big, shiny red bow? Sean "P. Diddy" Combs' new Sean John store at Macy's Herald Square. One of the most successful clothing lines to come out of hip hop culture, Sean John has a new home at the midtown Manhattan retailer. Over 2000 square feet of the world's biggest store is mapped out for the line's stylish sportswear, outerwear, accessories and denim.
"We’re very, very proud today to open one of many shops to come and to keep growing and evolving our partnership with Macy’s," Combs, 42, said during the October 27 ribbon-cutting ceremony. There are already 424 Macy's that carry the label and by the end of next year, there will be 10 similar Sean John concept shops at various Macy's stores.
This is a huge launch for the label since its Fifth Avenue flagship shut down in December of last year. Started in 1998 as an urbanwear line, Sean John has grown to encompass womenswear, fragrances and suiting, which helped earn Combs the Council of Fashion Designers of America Men's Designer of the Year Award in 2004. The line has also received a number of celebrity endoresments, with famous faces like Lauren London, Tyson Beckford and Bar Refaeli as brand ambassadors.
Looking for the perfect stocking stuffer? Stay in budget with a genuine leather, reversible belt for $49.50 or splurge on a dapper, three-piece suit for up to $349. If you can't make it to 34th Street to grab some Sean John garb, buy it online at Macys.com or SeanJohn.com.
