John Travolta Will Return To Present At The Oscars

John Travolta has been announced as one of the presenters at this year’s Academy Awards, prompting bets on whose name he’ll flub this time.

John Travolta, Chris Pine, Kevin Hart To Present At The Oscars

Travolta famously misspoke during his introduction of Idina Menzel at the 2014 Oscars, calling her ‘Adele Dazeem’ and becoming an Internet sensation overnight. Despite this viral flub, the Academy has invited Travolta back. But, Travolta isn’t the only celebrity with an opportunity to publicly embarrass themselves by mispronouncing a name at the Oscars.

The Academy also confirmed that Shirley MacLaine, Kevin Hart, Kerry Washington, Sienna Miller, Chris Pratt and Chris Pine would be presenting. Oscar winner Ben Affleck is also slated to present, as are previous Oscar nominees Jessica Chastain and Viola Davis. Miles Teller, who starred in this year’s Best Picture nominee Whiplash, and Naomi Watts (Birdman) will also appear as presenters.

Finally, The Academy confirmed that Oscar-snubs Jennifer Aniston and David Oyelowo would also act as presenters on Oscar night. Both Aniston and Oyelowo gave performances that earned them a decent amount of Oscar buzz – Aniston in Cake and Oyelowo in Selma, a Best Picture nominee.

The 87th Academy Awards, hosted by Neil Patrick Harris, will air live Sunday, Feb. 22 on ABC.
