Birdman received seven Golden Globe nominations, the most out of any film, with nods for its leading man, Michael Keaton, and a nomination for Best Motion Picture – Musical or Comedy.

Fan favorite Benedict Cumberbatch also earned a Golden Globe nomination for his breakout role in The Imitation Game, and will go up against heavy favorites Eddie Redmayne (The Theory of Everything) and Steve Carell (Foxcatcher), as well as David Oyelowo (Selma) and Jake Gyllenhaal (Nightcrawler), in the Best Actor in a Drama category.
