Chris Hemsworth will announce the 2014 Oscar nominations with Academy of Motion Picture Arts and Sciences President Cheryl Boone Isaacs Thursday, Jan. 16.

Hemsworth, who had a big 2013 with the release of Thor: The Dark World and Rush, and Boone Isaacs will be up early to make the big announcements during a live news conference at 5:38 a.m. P.T. the press conference will also be available for live stream and nominees will be updated to various online media outlets as they are announced.

With the Golden Globe Awards on Sunday, Jan. 12, and Oscar nominations less than a week away, speculation on who will nominated and who will be snubbed by the Academy is in full swing. Voting for the Academy Award nominations closed on Wednesday.

The 2014 Academy Awards will air live Sunday, March 2 on ABC at 7 p.m. E.T./4 p.m. P.T.
