Zack Snyder and Gal Gadot revealed the first official image of Gadot as Wonder Woman in Batman V. Superman: Dawn of Justice at Comic-Con on Saturday.
The still was the only glimpse audiences received of Gadot as the superhero, as Wonder Woman was not featured in footage screened exclusively for the Comic-Con audience. In the photo, Gadot stands tall in the iconic costume among a seemingly destroyed and burnt ground.
After the photo was released, Gadot shared it with her Twitter followers, writing, “I’m ready…are you?”
Snyder, Gadot, Ben Affleck (Batman) and Henry Cavill (Superman) all made an appearance at Hall H Saturday during the Warner Bros. panel. The trio introduced the footage alongside their director, but were given strict instructions not to speak to fans.
The Comic-Con footage, which has not yet been released to the public, reportedly shows a short scene of Batman turning on his search light and illuminating Superman.
