The CW screened the pilot for their new series The Tomorrow People Wednesday night for fans as part of Comic-Con preview.
The Tomorrow People, a remake of the 70s science fiction series, is about a young man, Stephen (Robbie Amell) who discovers he belongs to a group called the ‘Tomorrow People’ who represent ‘the next step in human evolution.’ Stephen has the power to teleport, and must learn to control his strange powers while simultaneously attending high school.
The pilot reportedly got a mixed reaction from fans. And, for those who missed the screening on Wednesday night, The Tomorrow People panel, Saturday at 5:55 P.M. in Room 6BCF, will also have a showing of the first episode.
Scheduled for the panel are executive producers Greg Berlanti (Arrow), Phil Klemmer, Danny Cannon, and stars Amell, Mark Pellegrino and Peyton List.
The Tomorrow People is set to premiere on Oct. 9 at 9:00 pm.
