The Teen Wolf panel delivered an action packed panel on Thursday evening. Actors Tyler Posey, Dylan O’Brien, Tyler Hoechlin, Crystal Reed, Holland Roden, Daniel Sharman, Max Carver, Charlie Carver and executive producer Jeff Davis were on hand to dish secrets from the set.
Not only did the cast debut an exclusive trailer for the rest of season 3 (see above) – they also teased that fans were going to get a Lydia (played by Roden) centric episode titled "The Girl Who Knew Too Much" that will come following Monday's Derek-centric flashback episode, 'Visions.'
Roden shared her excitement at learning more about the origins of her mysterious character – who we learned last season was immune to werewolf bites – and she also told jealous fans that she does, indeed, enjoy her sometimes romantic scenes with O'Brien. Fans of 'Stydia' (that's Stiles and Lydia) should be excited to see a shot in the trailer of the two lovebirds kissing. And, aparently, the goods don't stop there.
"The kiss isn't just a kiss," Davis told the crowd, causing O'Brien to jump in, joking, "it's also sex."
Yes, the issue of Stiles' virginity was discussed at the panel, and word has it the show will address it again before the season is over. Speaking of the rest of season 3, the second half of the third season, '3b,' will premiere January 6, 2014 on MTV.
The cast also hinted at the possibility of twins Max and Charlie Carver switching their allegiance – which would almost definitely extend their stay on the show. What would cause such a drastic shift for the two Alphas? Love, of course, though no word on which characters would inspire such a change in the boys. (By the looks of the trailer, Lydia seems otherwise occupied, so I'm guessing that means her fling with the straight twin – no I do not know which is which – is over.) As for the gay twin, it was hinted that Danny (Keahu Kahuanui) would soon come into contact with the world of the supernatural…
Finally, a new character, Kira, was also announced at the panel. The Asian-American cast member will be a part of a new mythology of Kitsune.
Lucky panel-goers received free Teen Wolf tattoos in addition to the spoilerific panel.
Teen Wolf airs Mondays at 10 P.M. on MTV, and the Teen Wolf stars are also available for sighing at the FOX Boot (#4229) at 11:15 A.M. – 12 P.M. on Friday.
