Fall out Boy performed for the first time in Brooklyn at the Barclays Center on Sept. 7. The Lineup included a headliner from the new and upcoming band twenty one pilots followed by opening songs from Panic! at The Disco and a few special guests.
Fall Out Boy’s set list included some of their old hits as well as songs off their newest album Save Rock and Roll and a few covers. The band sure rocked the arena with their masked grand entrance (members of the band wore Fall out Boy ski masks while performing their first song "The Phoenix"), pyrotechnics and various set changes.
The band gave a tribute to rock and roll and introduced their first special guest to perform with them, the Ramones drummer Marky Ramone. He and Andy Hurley switched places as Hurley took to guitar and they performed the Ramones hit song “Hey Ho, Let’s Go!”
After a quick set change, Fall Out Boy switched from electric to acoustic, slowing down the tempo beginning with a cover of Travie McCoy’s hit song, “Billionaire." Too much of the crowd’s surprise, Travie came out to join the band and rapped along to the hook.
Coming full circle Brendon Urie from Panic! at the Disco joined the band on stage again to perform Fall out Boy’s song “What a Catch, Donnie.” And finally, concert ended with the band performing the song “Saturday,” a nod to the day the concert was held.
