Apparently, Beck has moved on from his Morning Phase, following up his 2014 controversial Album of the Year with a complete 180 degree turn on his latest single “Dreams.” The song has the singer songwriter delivering unabashed disco funk, a serious departure from his usual folk-rock. Stadium rock drums and a riff friendly guitar that wouldn’t sound out of place on “Uptown Funk”; the song is a pop gem and may be the most commercial thing that Beck has released so far. While the singer hasn’t yet revealed the name or release date of the album that “Dreams: is off of, fans should start getting excited for whatever Beck has up his sleeve.
