Bill Paxton (Feb. 25, age 61)
Beloved actor Bill Paxton died Feb. 25, and his cause of death was revealed to be a stroke.
Paxton underwent heart surgery to replace a heart valve and correct an aortic aneurysm, but there were complications. His surgery was on Feb. 14 and the actor died 11 days later from a post-surgical stroke. He was 61.
He starred in several high-profile films including Apollo 13, Titanic, The Terminator, Aliens and Commando. His last film was the 2017 sci-fi thriller The Circle, based on Dave Eggers’ novel of the same name.
