Zooey Deschanel And Hannah Simone Sport ‘Vote’ T-Shirts On ‘New Girl’ Set

Zooey Deschanel and her New Girl costar Hannah Simone were spotted wearing shirts emblazoned with the word “vote” while filming scenes for the sitcom in Los Angeles Wednesday.

Deschanel and Simone were dressed to match on the New Girl set this week. The two TV stars wore skinny jeans and pale blue t-shirts that featured a patriotic “vote” graphic. Both actresses held clipboards in their hands, as they appeared to be signing up sorority girls to vote at a college campus.

Simone took to Instagram with a picture of her and Deschanel on set, captioning it, “When you and ya boo decide to duck out and be responsible citizens. #seasonsix #newgirlbaby #vooooote.”

After the day of shooting, Simone appeared to be on a flight out of town, which, incidentally, had New Girl available to view. “This weird show about a couple of kids who make mistakes and act like clowns is playing on @aircanada and I am FULLY INVESTED,” Simone captioned a picture on Instagram that showed her and Max Greenfield during a New Girl scene. “#nospoilersplease #ishipit @schmecewouldbeadopecouplename.”

New Girl, which is returning Megan Fox to the show, will premiere its sixth season on Fox Sept. 20.
