Academy Award winning Welsh actress Catherine Zeta-Jones was honored by Britain’s Queen Elizabeth II on Saturday along with other prominent names in music and film, such as Graham Nash of Crisby, Stills and Nash, and John Cale, member of noteworthy ’70s rock group the Velvet Underground.
Zeta-Jones will formally receive CBE honor, which stands for Commander of the Order of the British Empire, later this year. The awards take into account service and achievement in nearly any field and are ranked among the most distinguished honors attainable by a British citizen. –AHMED MORHI
