Zendaya Coleman and Demi Lovato posed backstage in their stylish ensembles backstage at Variety’s Unite4: Humanity pre-Oscar gala Thursday night.

Zendaya dressed for the star-studded event in a white Solace London mesh crop top and matching Banford wide-leg, high-waist pants. At her side, Lovato wowed in a long-sleeved, pleated red dress by Alexander McQueen, finishing off the look with black Saint Laurent shoes.

When the two weren’t showing off their fashionable duds, they were happy to goof off backstage.

During the event, Lovato presented Zendaya with the Young Luminary Award. “There’s so much inspiration here in this room,” Zendaya said during her acceptance speech. “There’s no age limit on being able to help people and just being able to inspire others and I just want to be living proof of that.”

Busy Philipps hosted the bash, which counted Forest Whitaker, Sarah Hyland, Queen Latifah, Jane Seymour, Christina Applegate, Ewan McGregor, Amy Poehler, Halle Berry, Josh Hutcherson, and Aaron Paul among the attendees.
