Zendaya Celebrates Her High School Graduation With Val Chmerkovskiy

Zendaya celebrated her high school graduation this weekend with her Dancing With the Stars partner, Val Chmerkovskiy.

Zendaya, 18, ditched her Met Gala couture for a traditional cap and gown over the weekend for a “pre-graduation party.”

The actress/singer/fashion idol is getting ready to earn her high school diploma, and, according to Twitter, is just a few finals shy of graduation.

A few weeks ago, Zendaya showed off her official Senior Portrait on Instagram, writing, “Senior portraits…I was so excited, I’m such a freakin dork.”

Zendaya’s dancing partner, Chmerkovskiy, congratulated her on Instagram, sharing a photo of the two of them at her graduation party. “From the Met straight to set to graduating high school. Proud of my lil Zendayachka,” Chmerkovskiy wrote.

Zendaya and Chmerkovskiy landed in second place during Season 16 of Dancing With The Stars, but have remained close, as evidenced by their social-media back and forth. She is currently filming her Disney Channel series K.C. Undercover.
