Zayn Malik Starts Twitter Feud With Calvin Harris Over Taylor Swift
Zayn Malik got into a Twitter feud with pop star Calvin Harris on Monday, over Harris’ rumored girlfriend Taylor Swift.

Malik apparently took a swipe at Swift by re-tweeting a meme that compared Swift and Miley Cyrus’ opinions about paying for music.
The meme highlighted quotes from the female pop stars, as Swift supports the view of fans paying to listen to her music, and Cyrus believes that fans don’t have to buy her albums in order to be happy with her success. “The difference is astounding,” the meme states.

Harris took the opportunity to defend Swift, tweeting to Malik, “You’ve made your money? Cool…f—k the 99% of musicians who depend on these services to survive right? Yeah f—k em.”

“If u don’t get what it means when a successful artist uses their celebrity to benefit every other musician and songwriter in the industry…stay out my f—kin mentions pls,” Harris added.

However, the “Feel So Close” singer did not stop there. “While u kids are refresh voting teen choice awards there’s some poor f—ker in a basement making your new favorite record trying to survive,” he continued. “Meaning…stay out of things you don’t understand.”

Malik, not shy to defend himself, responded back to Harris. “Ha, you just made an absolute fool of yourself mate,” Malik tweeted. “You clearly didn’t understand what I just said either.”

Harris later appeared to take a step back and told Malik that his tweets were not personal. “All good, it was the quote not you personally mate,” Harris wrote back.

But, Malik could not resist getting one last dig in. “Oh and I write my own s—t too d—khead,” Malik tweeted.
Harris didn’t take the bait and simply responded back with, “Best of luck, genuinely. You’ve got a great voice.”
