Zayn Malik Performs New Song “It’s You” About Ex Perrie Edwards On ‘Tonight Show’

Since his split from One Direction a little over a year ago, Zayn Malik is finally releasing new music to his awaiting fans. His first single “Pillowtalk” debuted with immediate success and last night the singer visited Jimmy Fallon on The Tonight Show and shared his second single, “It’s You.”

Dressed in a long black coat and backed by The Roots, the song carried the same floating sound as his previous single and showcased his immense vocal range.

The song is also rumored to be about ex-fiance Perrie Edwards (pictured) considering most of his new album was written when the two were still together. Malik is currently dating supermodel, Gigi Hadid.

The new album, Mind of Mine, is set to be released March 25 which is exactly one year after he quit One Direction.

His album art was also released yesterday and it features a much younger Zayn with his familiar tattoos. The tweet came from fan account and captioned the photo, “#Update | Zayn’s album cover for Mind Of Mine.”
