Zac Efron is set to get Footloose. After his film High School Musical 3 scored $42 million at the box office in its opening weekend, Paramount Pictures announced on Monday that it will fast track the remake with Efron in the role made famous by Kevin Bacon. The film will be directed by HSM3's Kenny Ortega and produced by the makers of the musicals Chicago and Hairspray, which was Efron's first feature.
