Yung Miami, Sean Combs’ Ex-Girlfriend, Silences Twitter Troll Demanding New Music

Rapper Yung Miami, a member of Florida hip-hop duo City Girls, quickly shut down a Twitter user who demanded new music from her.

Responding to Yung Miami’s tweet about a wig giveaway that would enable the lucky winners to have an “Act Bad Summer,” a fan quickly wrote, “it’s not a act bad summer until y’all drop the f–king song.” The 29-year-old “Act Up” rapper, who is known to regularly engage in conversation with fans over Twitter, was quick to clap back at the fan, writing “STFU.”

It has been nearly three years since City Girls, which also consists of rapper JT, has released new music, with fans becoming more and more impatient. The rappers, who have been touring worldwide, recently previewed a new track named “Piñata” at the Rolling Loud California music festival in March but are yet to announce a release date. Both Yung Miami and JT have been adamant that they will release music when they are ready but have hinted that fans should expect new songs this summer.

But her music is not the only instance where Yung Miami has had to defend herself. The rapper attended the Met Gala earlier this month with her long-time on-again-off-again partner Sean “Diddy” Combs, after just announcing that she is single last month.

“We definitely go together real bad. She’s my date for the night, she’s incredible,” Diddy explained when asked if they were back together. “We don’t put titles on it. Everybody wants us to put a title on it; we don’t put titles on it. This is like my best friend in the world, one of the most beautiful people God has blessed me to meet, and I’m blessed that she’s my date tonight.”

Yung Miami, who has also repeatedly insisted on not labeling their relationship, had a similar response, saying “It’s just a good date night.” Her attendance at the Met Gala and relationship with Diddy became a trending topic on social media after a comment made by Love & Hip Hop alum Raqi Thunda.

Responding to a fan who called Yung Miami a “publicly claimed and cared for Courtesan” and praised both her and Diddy for being “influential” and “powerful” in their efforts to not be placed “into a box they themselves don’t want to be in,” Thunda wrote, “She is an ambassador for Deleon and contracted to at least 5 more episodes on volt. And that’s ok if that’s what she wants but let’s not romanticize it anymore than what it is.”

After Thunda’s comment began trending on both Twitter and Instagram, Yung Miami quickly chimed in, saying “I want a bitch to stop speaking on me fa me!!!”
