YouTuber and boxer Jake Paul appears to have endorsed GOP presidential candidate Vivek Ramaswamy.

A TikTok video showed Paul and the Republican hopeful doing a viral dance popularized by Basketball player Dillon Brooks.

“How come more politicians don’t connect with the younger generation with social media posts?” Jake captioned the video. “Vivek is.”

Ramaswamy later explained his reasons for appearing on Paul’s video.

“The reason why professional politicians don’t want to talk to young people on social media is that they’re scared of unscripted conversations. Well, good thing I’m not a professional politician,” he said.

The video has since amassed over one million views.

Ramaswamy also claimed on X, formerly known as Twitter, that Paul helped change his mind about Tiktok. He previously called the app “digital fentanyl.”

“He changed my mind and convinced me to join TikTok,” Ramaswamy tweeted.

Several X users have since voiced their displeasure with Ramaswamy’s strategy to appeal to young voters.

“Vivek has gone full Beto. Never go full Beto,” John Hasson said, referring to the Texas Democratic candidate’s online video of him skating in a Whataburger parking lot.

@jakepaul Getting Vivek on Tik Tok because i believe our politicians of the future should connect with gen z and milennials on social where we all live and breathe. Its bizarre that in this day and age our presidents have no connection with us via social. Only the occasional tweets. Meet @Vivek Ramaswamy ♬ original sound – GenosPicks
