Miss Cleo Dies
Youree Harris, also recognized as the famed 90s TV psychic Miss Cleo, has passed away at age 54 — her rep announced on Tuesday.
Harris reportedly died Tuesday morning in Palm Beach County, Florida. She had been hospitalized recently after a long battle with colon cancer that spread to her liver and lungs.
Harris was surrounded by family and friends and remained a “pillar of strength” throughout her battle, according to her rep.
Harris, was born in Los Angeles and became the most popular psychic, as her Jamaican character Miss Cleo.
Miss Cleo starred in ads for the Psychic Readers Network, a telephone service that charged callers for Tarot card readings. Her famous catchphrase “Call me now!” inspired several psychic believers.
Harris also voiced a character in the Grand Theft Auto: Vice City video game, contributed to Fuse TV and appeared in used car commercials.
