Netflix’s popular original series Stranger Things took home the Screen Actors Guild Award for outstanding performance by an ensemble in a drama series.

STRANGER THINGS KIDS CELEBRATE SAG AWARDS VICTORY

The young stars of the show celebrated their win, excitedly holding their awards for the cameras. Finn Wofdhard (Mike), Gaten Matarazzo (Dustin), Millie Bobby Brown (Eleven), Noah Schnapp (Will), and Caleb McLaughlin (Lucas) jumped for joy following the win.

David Harbour, who delivered the acceptance speech on behalf of the cast, gave a chilling speech about today’s political climate. “[We] will repel bullies, we will shelter freaks and outcasts, those who have no home, we will get past the lies, we will hunt monsters,” he said to a cheering crowd. “And when we are at a lost amidst the hypocrisy and the casual violence of certain individuals and institutions, we will as per Chief Jim Hopper, punch some people in the face when they seek to destroy the weak and the disenfranchised and the marginalized, and we will do it all with soul, with heart, and with joy.”

This was possibly the most talked about moment from the award show, though not for the impassioned words or standing ovation he received, but from Harbour’s co-star’s reaction to his words. Winona Ryder got a lot of attention last night for the many emotive faces she made during the acceptance speech, sparking an Internet meme.
