WWE’s Chyna Likely Died From Accidental Overdose, Says Manager
Chyna, the former WWE wrestler who was found dead last week, most likely died from an accidental drug overdose, according to her manager.
Chyna Overdose
Chyna’s manager Anthony Anzaldo is fairly certain that she unintentionally overdosed on a combination of prescription pills, including Valium and Ambien, according to the New York Daily News.
“She was inappropriately taking her legally prescribed medication over the course of two to three weeks,” Anzaldo told the News. “On Sunday night, her body had enough. “Her normal amount was one thing, but over the course of time she was increasing, and not properly.”
It will be months before a toxicology report will available. Anzaldo is confident that when it is released that it will prove that Chyna had accidentally overdosed, and that she did not commit suicide.
“They’re not going to find 60 pills in her stomach,” Anzaldo explained.
Anzaldo found Chyna’s body at her Los Angeles home on April 21. She was 45.
Chyna was one of the original members of the D-Generation in the WWE after teaming up with Triple H. Even more impressively, she became the first woman to enter the Royal Rumble.
Due to Chyna’s history in the WWE, her brain is being donated to science and will be studied for signs of chronic traumatic encephalopathy (CTE).
