Soon after former WWE CEO Vince McMahon announced his retirement from the organization, the company revised its estimate of the total amount of hush money McMahon paid out to women to stop them from going public about McMahon’s affairs or misconduct.
It was first disclosed by WWE last month that McMahon paid out just under $15 million for “certain payments,” which should have been recorded as company expenses. His daughter Stephanie McMahon and Nick Khan are now co-CEOs of the company, while Triple H assumed McMahon’s other former role of head of creative at WWE.
