Worst Fashion Fails Of 2012!

With Fashion Week underway, we thought we'd balance out all of the glamor by taking a retroactive look back at the year's worst fashion statements, courtesy of beloved celebrities like Mischa Barton, Demi Lovato and Lily Cole. Alongside the regulars featured some surprising names, including the typically impeccable Diane Kruger and The Dark Knight Rises' Anne Hathaway (pictured above), who made the list thanks to some poor choices on the red carpet of their respective premieres.

Others with a reputation for extravagance and, er, creativity were perhaps not as shocking, including Helena Bonham-Carter, Nicki Minaj and singer Jessie J (pictured above). Whitney Port and Rihanna (pictured below), who can usually pull off an edge, had their fair share of bad days as well.

Young starlets Dakota Fanning and Eliza Doolittle (pictured below) proved fashion is often just a matter of experience and wisdom, but Arbitrage star Susan Sarandon also reminded us that good taste occasionally evades even the seasoned veterans.
