World War Z, the latest apocalyptic film set to hit theaters, will star Brad Pitt as an ex-U.N. investigator who travels the globe in an effort to curb the zombie plague that’s set to kill off all human life in 90 days. On Friday, the film’s latest full-length trailer was released.
Picking up with the last minute of the first trailer, it goes on to show Pitt wielding guns and peering out of aircrafts, searching for an answer to the zombie apocalypse that’s on track to wipe out the human race in a matter of months. The second trailer’s most startling moment is a glimpse of a scene where Pitt is aboard a plane that starts to plummet after a zombie outbreak races through the aisles.
The first World War Z trailer, released just days ago, showed Pitt’s character sitting in bumper to bumper traffic with his family on the streets of New York City. Chaos ensues as everyone vacates their vehicles and begins to run for their lives. Fortunately, Pitt and his brood are able to escape the ill-fated island of Manhattan via helicopter.
World War Z is due in theaters on June 21.
