The massive online multiplayer role-playing game World Of Warcraft will hit its 11th anniversary on Nov. 23, and the game’s producer, Blizzard, will celebrate with a special treat for all online players.
Any WoW users who log on between today and Nov. 30 will earn the 11th anniversary “achievement” and will receive a special anniversary gift package in their mailbox filled with fun new items. The package includes Celebration Package (increases experience and reputation gains from kills by 11% for one hour), Celebration Wand – Gnoll, Celebration Wand – Murloc, Exquisite Costume Set: “Edwin VanCleef” and the Inflatable Thunderfury, Blessed Blade of the Windseeker, which grants the player the Feat of Strength.
World of Warcraft was released in 2004 and is now in its fourth installment. The game’s setting takes place within the world of Azeroth, four years after the events at the conclusion of Blizzard’s previous Warcraft release, Warcraft III: The Frozen Throne
