Wiz Khalifa decided to make the Pirates baseball game a bit more interesting than usual.
The rapper threw the first pitch while high on magic mushrooms at the game against the Cleveland Guardians on Monday.
The rapper had already announced prior to the game that he was “Finna get stoned af and throw this first pitch at the pirates game” on Twitter.
A minute later, after throwing the pitch, he went back onto the app to share that, “Shroomed out throwin a baseball is crazy.”
Even though he was stoned, Khalifa was still able to get the ball over the plate. Before throwing the ball, he waved to fans in the stadium, as this video from MLB’s Twitter account shows.
A few hours later, Khalifa snacked on some Cracker Jacks while sitting in the stands with a drink. He seemed to enjoy his snack break, captioning the post, “F— yea.”
Before the game, the rapper shared a picture of his stockpile of two large jars of weed and Fungo mushrooms in preparation for the game.
Khalifa is known for frequently getting high, specifically smoking weed. He typically shares this on posts through Twitter.

On Sunday, the rapper shared a video of himself sitting in bed with rolling a blunt while writing, “St. Louis is always fun.” He informed viewers, “That’s what we smoking in St. Louis today. Kk. It’s what we always smoking.” At the end of the video, Khalifa invited fans to “pull up and get stoned with us.”
His catchphrase seems to be, “Get up. Get stoned,” as he often uses this phrase in his tweets.
Khalifa is not the first person to throw the first pitch while high. In 1970, the pitcher for the Pirates, Dock Ellis, was able to throw a no-hitter while he was on LSD. This was the only no-hitter he ever hit in his career.
