Wiz Khalifa was arrested at Los Angeles International Airport over the weekend when he allegedly refused to give up his hoverboard.

On Saturday, Khalifa uploaded a video to Instagram that shows his arrest at LAX, writing, “All because I didn’t want to ditch the technogy [sic] everyone will be using in the next 6 months. Do what you want kids.”

“This? I didn’t do nothing, anyway. What you want to do? Put me in jail because I didn’t listen to what you say?” Khalifa told officers while he was being detained. “We can have all the conversations you want to, you can end up on TMZ, destined to become as famous as you wanna be.” Khalifa had also tweeted, “Haven’t been slammed and cuffed in awhile. That was fun,” and captioned a picture of the incident, “They love sayin stop resisting.”

Further showing that he wasn’t actually resisting arrest, Khalifa posted a video on Instagram.

When one of Khalifa’s Twitter followers asked incredulously if the whole incident was merely over a hoverboard, Khalifa suggested that one day soon the cops will all be riding their own hoverboards. “What’s even funnier than them not bein able to do s*** is they’ll be riding them soon as well. Maybe ones I design.”
