A year after the infamous Oscars slap, Will Smith seems like he is ready to laugh about it. In a TikTok duet video, Smith listens as user Sam Rossi a.k.a. Miss Money Working discusses the benefits of asking any inanimate object what it thinks of you.
This apparently works being inanimate objects have consciousness just like us.
Smith then picks up his Best Actor Oscar for King Richard to seemingly to ask what it thinks of the actor.
At last year’s Academy Awards, Smith slapped comedian Chris Rock after he made an insensitive joke about Smith’s wife Jada Pinkett-Smith’s hair loss. Smith has owned up to his actions multiple times.

He apologized to Rock a day after the slap, calling his behavior “unacceptable and inexcusable” then four months later he released a six-minute video further explaining his actions.
“I am deeply remorseful, and I’m trying to be remorseful without being ashamed of myself, I’m human, and I made a mistake, and I’m trying not to think of myself as a piece of s—,” Smith said.
Smith has been banned from the Academy Awards for 10 years.
