Will Smith and Jada Pinkett Smith are reportedly planning to sign divorce papers this summer.
Smith and Pinkett Smith, whose marriage has been constant fodder for tabloid speculation, are once again at the center of divorce rumors. This time, it’s said that the couple has been rocky for years and that they’re finally ready to call time on their marriage.
“For Will and Jada, holding it together these past few years has been tough because their marriage has been on life support for a long time,” an insider told RadarOnline. “They’re exhausted from trying to maintain the façade of a happy union.”
“They’ve decided to pull the plug in a carefully choreographed manner, [and] agree announcing their split at the end of the summer is the right move,” the source went on. “They tried to fix things with therapy, [but] it’s not happening.”
Another source added that Smith and Pinkett Smith have been living separate lives, and that aside from the official signing of the divorce papers, they’re already no longer a couple.
“They’re already moving on with their lives,” the insider claimed. “All that’s left is the inking of the divorce papers.”
Despite the recent claims, the two might not be heading to divorce after all. The split story is “not true,” a source told Gossip Cop. The outlet also claims that stories pertaining to Smith being unfaithful with his Focus costar Margot Robbie and Pinkett Smith stepping out on her husband with her Hawthorne costar Marc Anthony aren’t based in facts either.
Smith and Pinkett Smith have been married for 17 years. Together, they have son Jaden, 17, and daughter Willow, 14.
